Within His Room

When the night comes along
and everything turns silent
then he sits there in his room.

He sits there hoping and dreaming
something will come along
to bring some hope back in his life.
Something that will take him away
from this sad and dull life.

He is a lonely fellow
as lonely as one can be.

He can sit there for hours and hours
by himself and wishing
this would be a happier place,
to have some joyful moments
and forget the sadness that life brings.

That’s the life of a lonely man with dreams.
